Hurricane Sandy, another devastating natural disaster, has swept through Haiti. There are still nearly 400,000 Haitians who are subjected to homelessness after the 2010 earthquake, and now, another 200,000 people have had their homes destroyed by this storm.
The winds and heavy rains have wiped out their winter crops, and a spike in water-borne diseases has been reported. It is time to stand together. I ask that you please spread the word so we can provide as many food and water donations as possible to our Haitian friends. We Advance is currently accepting your kind donations to provide these tools to those in need.
This is a huge set back and a time in which we need to stand together to keep moving forward.
